Where everything is in the builder, how saving works, and the keyboard shortcuts.

The builder: modules on the left, the page in the middle, module settings on the right — Modules on the left, your page in the middle, settings for the selected module on the right.

New to the builder? On your projects page, choose “Try the builder on a practice project”. It opens a café site you can change however you like — it is never published.

The three panels

Left — the module library. Double-click a module to add it, or drag it onto the page.
Middle — your page. Click a section to select it; its controls appear at the top right of the section.
Right — the settings for the selected section.

Tabs along the top

Pages is where you build. Branding sets colours, fonts and your logo. Global holds sections that appear on many pages. Blog and Video manage posts. The page menu switches pages; + Page adds one and the gear opens page settings, including the title and description search engines show.

Saving

Changes save a few seconds after you stop typing, and Save saves right away. If your connection drops, your edits stay in this browser and the builder offers to restore them the next time you open it.

Shortcuts

⌘Z / Ctrl+Z — undo. ⌘⇧Z — redo. Inside a text field these undo your typing instead.
⌘D / Ctrl+D — duplicate the selected section.
Delete or Backspace — remove the selected section (undo brings it back).
Escape — deselect.
⌘S / Ctrl+S — save now.
